Greek Mythology has influenced Greek culture, and it also has influenced us today in some ways. There are tons of books, movies, games, constellations, company names, astrological signs, architectural designs, city names, and tons more were based on, or influenced by Greek Mythology in some way.

Lore Olympus

Lore Olympus is a book, but also a Webtoon mainly about Persephone and Hades. The author of the the two is Rachel Smythe. Persephone is new to Olympus, and when her roommate, Artemis, takes her to a party, her whole life changes. When she meets Hades, she feels an immediate spark with him as he was charming but also someone who was misunderstood. Persephone has to navigate her way to fit into Olympus, while trying to understand the confusing politics and relationships that rule it. There are so many positive reviews, with it just barely almost hitting a perfect 5/5 stars. The artwork on this is extravagantly beautiful, and volume 2 of Lore Olympus is publishing very soon, on July 5th, 2022. Also, Lore Olympus is expected to have their series released on Netflix very soon also in 2022.

Kaos

A series that will be coming out soon is called, "Kaos." It's going to stream on Netflix, and since there hasn't been an official release date, some people are assuming it's going to release in mid-2023 considering the production schedule. "Kaos" is a series that puts a modern twist in Greek Mythology, exploring themes of gender politics, power, and life in the underworld. It also contains dark comedy.

About The Creator Of Kaos

The creator of the series "Kaos," is named Charlie Covell. Charlie Covell is a British actress, but also writer, and she is best known for her adaptation of the graphic comic series, "The End of the [REDACTED] World." She is about 38 years old right now, being born in 1984. Also, she studied English at Oxford University.

Ithaca

Another thing that will be coming out very soon is a book, made by Claire North. It's called, "Ithaca." It's a story about Penelope of Ithaca, famed wife of Odysseus. Beyond Ithaca's shores, the whims of gods dictate the wars of men. But on the isle of Ithaca, it's the choices of the abandoned women, and their goddesses, that will change the course of the world. "Ithaca" is expected to be released on June 30, 2022.

About The Author Of Ithaca

Claire North is only just a fictitious name, just like J. K. Rowling, and her real name is Catherine Webb. She wrote several novels in various genres before actually publishing her first major book as Claire North. She made "The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August," and it was a critically acclaimed success. She received favorable and great reviews, and she also became a bestseller. Since then, she published several extremely popular and critically acclaimed novels, she received two medals, and she has been shortlisted for the Sunday Times as the Young Writer of the Year award.

Conclusion

So, even now, there are brand new books, movies, and other things about Greek Mythology still coming out to this day. They influence, inspire, motivate, and interest other people into also making their own, creative things. Like me, Greek Mythology has inspired me to create my own character based on the stories and myths of Greek Mythology. I enjoyed making my character, and I even placed them into plot points of Greek Mythology stories to make them fit in.
