About Her
Athena was the Greek Goddess of wisdom, war, and crafts. She was a daughter of Zeus, and was his most favorite child. She was known by her olive tree, in which that won against Poseidon with his horses for the city of Athens (more info about Athena in my "Greek Mythology Gods And Goddesses/Deities," located in the Athena section).
Why I Chose Athena
I chose Athena to draw out of all of the other gods/goddesses because she was my favorite (and also to this day) when I first learned about Greek mythology. She was also in the section of being one of the twelve major gods and goddesses.
To Make This You'll Need:
1 Pencil
1 Eraser (in case you mess up)
Coloring Utensils (Optional)
1 Pen (Optional)
1 White Gel Pen (Optional)
1 Sheet of White Paper
To Be Able To Follow Along With
What You Can Be Expecting
There will be a video of me talking about how to draw Athena. But, if you can't follow it, I will list the instructions below the video so you can have a more in-depth tutorial on how to draw her.
Video :D
Sorry for the shakiness btw lol, I had to record with my non-dominant hand :].
Instructions
Step 1:
Create a base model of Athena, with making a more slim and feminine structure. It does not have to look like mine, but you gotta just have to make a female base model to figure out where her features and items go. You do not have to make a whole body, and you just have to make at least half of a model.

Step 2:
Start tracing over it with details, like adding the helmet, the hair, and the face first, as these are in my opinion, the easiest things to do first before moving on to the next steps.

Step 3:
Draw the shield that Athena is holding with Medusa in the middle of it. You can then add any detail around Medusa on the shield with any design you would like. I do suggest adding a sun around Medusa first though.

Step 4:
Next, add details to the body, with adding the chestplate armor, white robe, and spear. Make sure the chestplate contains details, such as spirals, and Medusa's snakes (optional). For the white robe, make sure that it contains creases and wrinkles to make it look a little more realistic, as well as a leg slit off to the side if you are drawing some legs.

Step 5 (Optional):
Trace your drawing in pen and then erase the excess pencil that's left in your drawing of Athena.
Step 6 (Optional):
Color and highlight your Athena. You can color with any brand of coloring utensils, as well as any style you would like (like crayon, paint marker, etc.). You can highlight your Athena by using your white gel pen, such as for reflections, and also lighting.
If you have followed along, congrats! You are now finished with your art! Having fun is the most important thing when you draw, and I hope that happened with you! :D
Important Reminder: 💖 Love 💖 yourself for who you are! :]

This is fabulous!
